Until you have loved with fire, you haven’t really loved. You might of thought you loved someone in the past but it doesn’t compare. It’s that life changing love. The highs. The lows. The passion. And not knowing what to do with all of that emotion. Knowing that your life will never be the same, for the better.

A love with fire makes you feel every facet of life. It forces you to stare true love in the face and it can be all consuming and confronting but one thing you’re sure of is that, you truly are alive and you’ve been given this incredible gift. It’s that great love, that transcends time and circumstance. A love that will keep firing forever.

I remember standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon many years ago and thinking how immensely beautiful and how incredibly vast it was. How I didn’t understand how something can demand such attention, but it does and you realise how small you are in comparison to it. That is how I feel about our love. It is so great and so vast and I don’t know how to fathom it because it’s so much more powerful than I am. But I welcome it because it’s the most real experience I have had. An unbridled love, set loose on the wind. My heart is yours.

Things I learned from Taxi Drivers.

My sister and I took a Taxi home from Arab St today and our taxi driver imparted some true wisdom to us. I am thankful for the lesson and the reminder.

1) That the best kind of happiness is when you make other people happy.
2) That giving kindness feeds the soul and it’s like collecting karmic storage for your life.
3) That what you eat and what you say are very important in life. That would you eat should be healthy and what you say should be healthy too. Because words can be very empowering and loving or the opposite and it’s very important that they are loving.
4) That it’s important to share the same frequency with the people that you love.
5) He said he enjoys every single moment of his life and is always thankful for it.
