mother earth, father sky.

It is not our birth right to consume and waste. It is our birth right to replenish what we use. Indigenous societies had it right from the get go; that we are an inherent part of the natural world, the earth is our mother and the sky is our father – we are all related – so we must treat the planet like our family.

In Hawaii, father sky (Wakea) and mother earth (Papa) make love when the clouds are touching the mountains and the rain is the semen that fertilises the earth. How beautiful <3
