The Wedding.

My cousin, Leisa got married yesterday and she was a beautiful and amazing bride. It was such a perfect day. The whole Tjoeng family was in full force and it was such a glorious day spent in each others company. It made me realise how much I miss my cousins and how we don’t get to see each other enough. That is going to change. I am planning a trip back to the motherland; back to Wewak where all of our souls reveled in island life and being new beings in this big wide world.

Leisa and Wade’s wedding was really heart warming and was a reminder to what really matters in this life; to love and be loved.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
It is not self-seeking, nor easily angered.
It keeps no record of wrongdoing.
It does not delight in evil,
But rejoices in the truth.
It always protects, trusts, hopes, and preserves.
There is nothing love cannot face;
There is no limit to its faith, hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things that last forever:
Faith, hope, and love;
But the greatest of them all is love.
– Corinthians 13:4-7
